The 5 Best 60 in tv Flat-Screen Televisions
You want to know which is the best 60-inch TV. Maybe you want to buy a new TV. Maybe your old TV is broken.
Either way, you’re in a good place. 🙂 Here I tell you which are the best Smart TVs of about 60 inches, for quality and pure and complex quality.
Sounds good? So let’s get to it:
What is the best 60-inch TV in the quality-price?
1. LG 60UP8000 – The best 60″ Smart TV with 4K, Alexa and HDR10 Pro
For those who want a complete smart TV
OKAY. Where do I begin? It isn’t easy to decide, since this television is the most complete. To start with, to say that the resolution of its 60-inch LED screen is 4K UHD, of course (see this guide of mine on different 4K resolutions if you are not very clear about what UHD means). And the audio? Well, thanks to the AI Sound & Virtual Surround sound processor, it is also excellent. It is surrounded roll 360º, as in the same cinema. Design? Simple and elegant. Well done, LG.
2. LG 60UP8000-ALEXA 2021-Smart TV 4K UHD 153 cm (60″) with Quad-Core Processor, HDR10 Pro, HLG, Virtual Sound…
As if that were not enough, in addition to 4K, this television comes with Artificial Intelligence that automatically analyzes and improves the image quality. Also, it supports ALL HDR formats: HDR10, HDR HLG, HDR GiG. LG seems to leave nothing in the inkwell.
Of course, this is a Smart TV, with which you can enjoy all the typical video streaming applications and more. It is based on the WebOS 6.0 Premium operating system, with Artificial Intelligence LG ThinQ AI and compatibility with the Google Assistant, Alexa and AirPlay 2.
Conclusion: This is, in my opinion, a super complete intelligent TV model. It comes with everything you’d expect from a high-end TV, plus it’s pretty reasonably priced. Overall, one of the best, if not the best exact 60-inch model.
3. Samsung 65Q80A – The best 65″ QLED TV with 4K UHD resolution and Alexa
For those who want pure image quality.
Voucher. This television is a little larger than the previous model, but it is close to 60 inches, and with the frame so small that it has it, it is as if it were. I had to include this model because its image quality is insane. It has a QLED-type panel with 4K Ultra High Definition resolution and Artificial Intelligence. Come on, the last of the last. And to top it all off, it’s also a Direct LED Full Array (a good thing you don’t see every day).
It is clear that the image quality is crazy on this TV, but the rest of the Smart TV is just as impressive… I’ll tell you all the details below.
Samsung QLED 4K 2021 65Q80A – 65″ Smart TV with 4K UHD Resolution, QLED 4K Processor with Intelligent…
This Samsung Smart TV is undoubtedly one of the best. In addition to the features already mentioned, this TV is also compatible with HDR 10+ and Quantum HDR 1500. As if that were not enough, it has an OTS (Object Tracking Sound) sound system that makes the sound only play from the specific place where the action takes place.
This high-end Smart TV from Samsung is also compatible with all voice assistants such as Google Assistant, Alexa and Bixby.
In short: the best TV is around 60 inches if you prioritize image quality. These Samsung QLED panels look good, VERY GOOD, especially since it has a Full Array backlight. My tens, the truth.
4. Philips 58PUS7555/12 – Best cheap 58″ 4K UHD TV with Dolby Atmos
Those who want a cheap but equally high-quality TV.
It seems incredible to me the kind of televisions you can buy today for such low prices. This TV a few years ago would have cost thousands of Euros. Now? Honestly, its current price seems ridiculous for what the TV offers: a panel of almost 60 inches LED 4K UHD, with P5 Picture Engine, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and as icing on the cake, Dolby Atmos for a surround sound.
Philips 58PUS7555/12 146 cm (58-inch) 4K UHD TV (4K UHD, P5 Picture Engine, Dolby Vision, Dolby…
The operating system used by this Smart TV is Saphi. It is straightforward to use, and you will be able to download all typical apps like Netflix, YouTube and many more without problems.
Conclusion: cheap TV for what it offers. Incredibly affordable, at least in my opinion. Of course, if you are in saving mode and want a 60-inch Smart TV, this is one of the best models.
5. Hisense 58AE7000F – Best 58″ Smart TV with 4K and DTS Studio Sound
A good alternative is also cheap and with some different features.
This smart TV is the other great option (apart from Philips) for those looking for something good but cheap. It is also super affordable, and its features are decent, although somewhat different: it is also 4K UHD as it could not be from another and in addition, it has Artificial Intelligence and Ultra Dimming. A positive point for Hisense! But there is more.
Hisense 58AE7000F – Smart TV 4K resolution, UHD TV 2020, integrated Alexa, Precision Color, UHD scaling…
Its sound system is slightly different since it has DTS Studio Sound and not Dolby Atmos. Finally, it is based on Vidaa U 4.0 and is compatible with Alexa. Super easy to use Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, DAZN, Rakuten TV, Youtube, surf the internet and more. This TV has Bluetooth, AV, USB, Ethernet and HDMI.
Shall I summarize it for you? This television is an excellent alternative for those who want a 60-inch set that is cheap but not cheap. This model is VERY POPULAR, and the truth is, I understand it perfectly. When something is good, excellent and affordable, people like it. Cause and consequence. Their Hisense deserves this success.
CHiQ U58H7A – The best 58″ Android TV with WIFI, Bluetooth and Chromecast
Those who want a Smart TV with Android TV.
I’m not going to lie to you: the most important thing about this TV is that it’s Android TV. If it did not have Android, it would be a good almost 60-inch TV, but it would not stand out in any way. I mean, that’s fine: it’s 4K Ultra High Definition, with Dolby Audio, WIFI, Bluetooth, HDMI, and a very cool design with ultra-thin borders. But why does it stand out? By the Android operating system.
This system has many fans, and I am one of them. Below I explain its virtues.
CHiQ U58H7A – Smart TV, 58 inches, Android 9.0, Ultra HD, 4K, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, with Assistant…
You see, with Android TV, you can easily use tons of on-demand applications like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, social networks like Facebook and many more. It is an intuitive, easy-to-use system that allows you to seamlessly browse the internet, use the Google Assistant and enjoy the built-in Chromecast features.
Conclusion: great TV if you want to try a Smartphone of about 60 inches with an Android operating system. It is one of the best options. And beware, because although it stands out for its OS, that does not mean that the rest of the TV is terrible. On the contrary, its specifications are excellent, and it is cheap as hell for its price. That’s my opinion of this TV.
How to choose which 60-inch TV to buy? A quick guide:
How not to make a mistake when deciding
You have to admit it:
Knowing which TV to buy is getting harder and harder. It is valid for both 60-inch televisions and those of any other size.
It can be hard to know where to start with so many makes and models. But relax, that’s why I’ve written a complete guide on the main page of this website, take a look: What TV to buy?
If you’re in a hurry and want a quick rundown, here’s a mini-guide with some key factors. It will surely help you:
Advantages and disadvantages of a large TV
The most crucial factor in knowing how to choose which TV to buy is the size of your future television. Do you want it large, small or medium? Knowing the answer to this question is crucial not to make a mistake in your purchase.
To help you decide, here is a helpful table with what I consider to be the main advantages and disadvantages of large televisions.
(Of course, a 60-inch TV is already considered significant).
Advantages of big TVs Disadvantages of large televisions
The big screen is fantastic They don’t fit
Its specifications are high-end They are more expensive
QLED and OLED screens available Less portable (although you may not care)
The question is this:
If you’re here, chances are you want a big TV. And I can’t blame you. The truth is that a big screen has something that makes you fall in love.
For example, I have written an article on this website about the most interesting 75-inch televisions today, and hey, the truth is that even I am impressed by the quality they are reaching: What is the best 75-inch TV??
Apart from this site, you have many other valid options.
Also, consider a 65 or 55-inch TV.
It may be that you think you want a 60-inch television in particular. However, it is not a good idea to close at 55 or 65 inches. Why? Well, very simple: between 60 and 55 or 65 inches, there is no significant difference, but there are many more models to choose from.
There are very few models of televisions of precisely 60 inches. Most are 58. In this article, I have already told you which are the best.
But here’s the thing. There are other TVs of VERY similar sizes that are great. The variety is good because you may find something better for your needs:
I was hoping you could do yourself a favour and take a look at those articles I’ve done about the best 55-inch and 65-inch Smart TVs. They are worth it. Maybe you will find a model you like more than the ones presented here (or perhaps not, who knows 🙂 ).
What image resolution do you need?
If you are already clear about how many inches you want your next television, it is time to think about the resolution you need. Generally, TVs more significant than 45 inches, including those 60 inches, all feature 4K Ultra High Definition resolution.
It is the standard today as 4K TVs look much sharper than Full HD and aren’t noticeably more expensive.
In 43 or 40-inch televisions, you will find some models with 4K resolution and others with Full HD, so you will have to choose for yourself.
Similarly, on smaller televisions – around 32 inches – you will find that most models are HD resolution, but there are some with Full HD screens.
To decide which resolution is best for you, consider this:
- The size of the television: point already commented. The larger, the more resolution is needed to avoid blurred images.
- Personal tastes: a more demanding person requires higher resolution to feel that the image quality is worth it.
- The distance you plan to watch the TV is that the closer you are, the more resolution is needed. Thanks to 4K resolution, we can see TV much closer than before.

Types of screens and image quality
The vast majority of televisions have ordinary LED screens. However, from time to time, you will come across TVs with other types of panels, such as OLED, QLED and NanoCell.
It is a separate topic, which I am not going to deal with in this article because I have already written a great one that tells you EVERYTHING in a super simple way: Different types of televisions.
Also, know that not all LED screens are the same. There is a world of difference between an Edge LED panel and a Full Array. I was hoping you could look at this quick guide on the subject: Edge LED, Direct LED and Full Array.
Measurements of a 60-inch TV
A 60-inch television measures 152.4 centimetres diagonally. Also, the height of a 60-inch television is 74.72 centimetres, and the width is 132.83 centimetres. These height and width figures have been calculated assuming a 16:9 aspect ratio, the most common for televisions.

Conclusions and recommendations
Do you want to know the truth?
Every TV on this list is more than decent. It isn’t easy to crown just one of these 60″ TVs as the winner since, in truth, the purchase decision depends exclusively on your needs. It sounds cliche. But yes, we are all unique.
Some models are better if you prioritize price quality, others if you prioritize image quality (QLED screens are sweeping in this regard), others if you want Android TV, etc., taste the colours.
The variety is good. It gives you options to choose from.
And I repeat: also consider a 55 or 65-inch TV, especially if none of the Smart TVs presented in this article particularly convinces you. The most important thing is the audiovisual experience and the device’s price.
Have you already decided which 60-inch TV to buy?
Hi, how are things? Do you already know what TV you are going to buy? Or have you been left with more doubts than at the beginning? I hope this article has been helpful to you. And please, zero shyness in the comments. If you have any doubts or questions in the inkwell, analysis and I will answer as soon as possible. All the best.
Are 60 TVs being phased out?
There aren’t many 60 inch TVs out there, and only a few are released every year. Manufacturers are focusing more on their 55 inch and 65 inch models, so it’s a better choice to go for either of these sizes as you get more options available.
